THIS WEEK Dolce & Gabbana caused a stir on social media with the announcement of its new clothing line of hijabs, abayas and head coverings.

Does the fashion company’s decision to release a collection inspired by typical Muslim women’s garb suggest that modesty is slowly making a stand in the fashion industry? And will this translate to the fashions we’re set to see this week on the Golden Globes red carpet?

But can you blame her? After all, the budding model was frolicking with the stylish star amidst a sun-drenched getaway in St. Barth’s and Anguilla for the holidays—who could resist pilfering through his seemingly endless closet?
Speaking of beaches, it looked as if everyone was making a run for them, perhaps to beat off the imminent winter chill? Brooklyn Beckham and his little sister, Harper, took a sweet stroll along the shore, confirming that style simply runs in the family. Julia Sarr-Jamois channeled a Mexico-bound Josephine Baker in a banana-printed Prada miniskirt and cropped vintage tee. This while Vogue’s own Elisabeth von Thurn und Taxis blended in completely with her surroundings in Cabarita Beach, Australia, donning a striped bateau that matched with the beachfront furnishings of the Halcyon House quite perfectly.

Retouching is important part of Photoshop and commonly used in magazines, books, advertisements. It is not too exaggerated when saying that you see this kind of work every day even if you are not a graphic designer. Many methods can be used to achieve stunning effects, sky is the only limitation. However, it is definitely hard to master and requires you to have strong understanding about layers, color and brightness, sometimes filter effects as well.
